Parts / Service

Since Tanaka is a power equipment manufacturer, engines and parts are easy to come by and will likely stay like that.

Reliability

If there is anything this engine is known for, it is its reliability. Tanaka's engines are known to grow stronger/faster over the years and this engine is no exception

Performance Enhancements

Tuned Pipes

Tanaka 3 Piece Pipe

Tanaka designed a pipe specifically for its 47cc engines to be mounted on Bladez's and its own scooters.

Bladez 3 Stage Pipe

Bladez also designed this pipe to me mounted on its scooters along with this engine and the Tanaka Purefire 40.

Porting

This engine comes pre-ported from the factory and little room is left for additional work.

Head Kit

There are no head kits in production that are compatible with this engine.

Timing Key

There are timing keys available to advance this engine's timing for a few more RPMs, but timing keys seems to have little if any effect on this engine.
