This is the lower shaft of an evo transmission. The bearing has completely seized on the shaft and the bearing cup has been spinning in the side plate.

This is the lower shaft of an evo transmission with a seized 6002 bearing. It is completely connected to the shaft and will not move. The shielding appears to have been melted out as it worked on seizing up. Just to the left of the shaft is the cup which held the bearing. After the bearing seized, the cup began to take on the weight and rotated in the side-plate.

This is a 6002 bearing which had seized up on the lower shaft of an evo tranmssion. You can seen the melted shield which has been pressed outward from the balls and retainer. As I pulled this from the shaft, pieces of broken balls fell out.

This is a 6002 bearing which had seized on the lower shaft of an evo transmission. I pulled off the burnt shield so you could see how the balls and retainer were completely annihilated.
